TWN 1381
Weld-on Hook with Double Shortening

The THIELE weld-on hook with double shortening TWN 1381 is typically being welded onto quick couplers.

According to the required lifting application, the shortening allows a variable adjustment of the leg lengths, thus compensating for different lifting heights. The shortening enables the transport of loads in suspended aisles.

The weld-on hook can also be welded to a plate, which can be bolted steel elements.

Furthermore, there is no need to stock chain slings with different use lengths. The weld-on hook with double shortening enables the use of more cost-effective and simpler chain slings.

The shortening allows the lifting power of earth-moving machinery (excavators) to be used more effectively.

The adjustable chain length minimizes the tipping moment. This technical solution prevents the improper use of lashing straps during lifting.

The manufacturing and testing requirements are based on DIN 5692, DIN EN 1677-1, GSHM 36.
